Loosely based upon true events, starring Gael García Bernal and Leonardo Ortizgris as two hapless veterinarian students who get in over their heads in a scheme to steal Mexican precious cultural artifacts of an incalculable value from Mexico’s National Anthropology Museum. On a fateful Christmas Eve dinner, they excuse themselves from a family dinner and execute the plan they have been preparing for months. They succeed beyond their wildest dreams, escaping with a haul of treasures of incalculable value.  And then the complications begin.
