“REMEMBER” PREMIERES IN COMPETITION AT THE VENICE FILM FESTIVAL

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – September 9, 2015 – “REMEMBER” starring Academy Award® Winner Christopher Plummer, directed by Academy Award® Nominee Atom Egoyan, produced by Robert Lantos and Ari Lantos and written by Benjamin August, will have its World Premiere representing Canada In Competition at the Venice Film Festival, tomorrow night. “REMEMBER” will have its North American premiere two days later as a Gala at the Toronto International Film Festival. On October 1, it will open the Woodstock Film Festival; on October 9 it will be a Gala at the Hamburg Film Festival and on October 10 it will have its UK premiere in the thriller section of the BFI London Film Festival.
“REMEMBER” will be released in theatres in Canada by Entertainment One on October 23 and in the U.S by A24 on January 15, 2016 after a qualifying run in December.
“REMEMBER” is the eighth collaboration between director Atom Egoyan and producer Robert Lantos in a relationship that spans 25 years.

HBO and Pacific Theaters have acquired Asian pay TV rights and airline rights were snapped up by Entertainment in Motion while the Asian pay television rights were acquired by HBO Asia.
Plummer is supported by Academy Award® Winner Martin Landau, Dean Norris and Bruno Ganz. Executive Producers include Mark Musselman, Anant Singh, Jeff Sagansky and Moises Cosio. Music score is by Academy Award® Winner Mychael Danna and Cinematographer is Paul Sarossy.
